Traditions don’t happen overnight. They develop over time through consistent integrity, hard work, and a dedication to a cause. So it is with the Medler Electric traditions of customer service unequaled in the distribution industry.

Medler Electric Company was founded in 1918 by William E. Medler. He was joined in 1920 by Helmuth B. Lueth. In 1929 Mr. Lueth purchased the business from William Medler, retaining the name Medler Electric. Mr. Lueth started a tradition of a family business dedicated to customer satisfaction. He was joined in 1942 by son, Herb, and in 1950 by son, Walt.

In 1983 Herb and Walt Lueth established a program to make Medler Electric employee-owned, ensuring the continuation of the tradition. When you talk to any Medler Electric Company Associate you are talking to one of the company’s owners. The family team tradition of customer service will continue for years to come.
